What's On YOUR Workdesk This Wednesday??

Hi all U Woywwers!! I've been hunting for my glasses for ages, so I could type this and had to wear my other glasses, which are rubbish and now I've suddenly realised where my other glasses are!!! On MY Head!! So, I've brought a whole new meaning to 'four eyes!!' (It's now six eyes) Oh well, it could be worse...at least I didn't dye hubby's underwear pink this week. It's time for another dose of...
Pop over to Julia's and add your blog to the ever growing list!!

On my desk this week is .... everything bar the kitchen sink ...Very messy, no time to tidy, so it all just got dumped in a heap, as I've been busy trying to catch up after the weekend of chicken, cat sitting and people visiting. One good thing about having a craft room is, you can close the door and no one knows it's this messy! Well, no one but you...

A little sneak of what's under my bench, just a 'few' of my purple plastic boxes hiding some of my punches ... yep...colour coded... all the greens together, all the yellows, the pinks, the blues, so in a way I am very organized!
Of course, when it gets this messy, I venture out into the living room... and use the dining table and then spread on to the ironing board. (hubby's used to glittered shirts)
I've been weeks now drawing that little dog you can see but still haven't got him quite right. He's a little prize for Shell for having my Digi Store banner on her side bar...better hurry up and finish it or, it'll be time to chose this months banner winner!
There's today's freebie in the making too, as requested, a Giraffe I've named Gelly. Hope you like her...or him! (It'll be in the didi digi store next week)
A question from Julia last week, my pink Quickutz and how often do I use it? Not often. I bought it at a bargain price with one set of very small letters and numbers. I would use it more if they were bigger or if I had more choice.
Close up of my little scissors, so chuffed that so many of you think that's such a good idea... and.. even though my room is in a heap, I still have two out of the five pairs in their place! That 'making' of a black and white ATC, is what my new punch from last week does! (I didn't know) And the 'OW' is really the word SNOW but I've lost the S! (the N is there) and the spilling paint pot is a pencil sharpener...
That's it! I'm not here, so Mr Blogger will have to do the honors. I'll be round later to say hi!! Have a good WOyWw! Thank you for stopping by.

Sorry you've missed this Freebie.
There'll be a new one on the latest Wednesdays Post

  1. Hey Spyder,

Love the way you store your punches. Do you have to dig for them? I don't have many, but they take up a lot of room in a drawer.

Why is it when I click to leave you a comment, it takes me to an ad? I keep noticing it. Does everyone get the same screen? Just curious if it was me. Happy WOYWW.

  14. Ah! punches. Such a daft shape most of the time. I like your storage but I don't have any more space for boxes. My MS punches are kept in their packaging so I can hang them on hooks. I need 'sky hooks!!'.

  28. Glasses on the head eh? I can go one better than that.... I spent ages rooting around for my sunglasses a couple of weeks ago, when a friend asked me what I was looking for. When I told him he said "are the similar to the ones you're currently wearing???" Not on my head, I was already wearing the stupid things!!

  40. Hi! Thanks for posting to my blog. I love WOYWW. So inspiring. In reference to Gelly: did you know that there is a website called www.onemilliongiraffes.com that is asking for people's custom giraffes? And since you are the original artist, you could contribute it. Check it out. He's too cute not to share! :-)

  41. Oh you make me so happy to know I'm not the only one to lose my specs when they're on my head, don't know why I don't look there first because that's where I keep them when they're not on my nose. Your desk might be in a mess but I see a great deal of organisation hiding amongst it.

  52. Hi Lyn,

Ive never bought any of my PM's from a shop I do it all on the net! Once you place an order at Letraset they send you a 10% voucher for all future purchases within a month or two's time frame! They also have free p&p! I get a couple at a time, they also often have certain colours on offer.

  53. Oooh I spread out from my craft room to the dining room and then the living room too but I never thought about the ironing board - and I have a super wide one too what a trick I have been missing - off to remedy that situation as I figure if thats covered with craft stuff I wont be able to iron either and therefore more time to craft - win win all round! Thanks for sharing that top tip!

  54. I aren't enter WOYWTW (?) as my craft room is a case of what's on your craft room floor, your coffee table, dining table, spare room...LOL But I do like looking to see where the magic happens for other crafters. And I love your scissor holders - cool idea! If only I could find mine - haha.

  58. Hi and Happy WOYWW! I am glad I clicked to enlarge the picture, because now I can see there's a better way to store and FIND those big paper clippies... rather than my traditional method of getting irritated and running out to the store.
